LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT State of North Carolina County of Stanly Town of Albemarle We, the members of the Senior Class of 1960, in twenty-five individual parts, realizing that our stay at Endy High School is fast drawing to a close, and know- ing that we must soon depart from this life of lectures, text books, and examinations do make, publish, and declare this our last will and testament, hereby re- voking and making void all former wills any time here- tofore made. During our sojourn, we have obtained many world ly and valuable possessions which we must dispose of since we cannot take them with us. According to the dictates of our hearts and conscience, we do hereby dispose of these as follows: Section I Article 1 - To our beloved Alma Mater we do will our loyalty, our respect, and all trophies that we have had a part in winning. Section II Article 1 - To the faculty we do will our sincere ap- preciation for the many acts of kindness they have shown to us during our sojourn at Endy High School. Section IH Article 1 - To the members of the Junior class we do will our beloved homeroom, our distinquished section in assembly, all our Senior privileges which we have so graciously observed, and the arduous task of edit- ing the yearbook. Article 2 - To the members of the Sophomore class we do will our studious ways and abilities to make A ' s, along with all our honors and distinctions. Article 3 - To the members of the Freshman class we do will all our athletic ability, and our good sports- manship in class and in athletics. Section IV Article 1 - To our mascots we do will our respect, and deep appreciation for serving us so faithfully. Section V Article 1 - I, Fanny Jane Adams, do will to Treva Almond my position as school reporter. Article 2-1, Bernard Keith Almond, do will to Tony Burleson my position as F. F. A. president. Article 3 - I, Nancy Lee Almond, do will to Nancy Efird my title of Miss Hi Miss. Article 4-1, Patricia Ann Almond, do will to Ann Mercer my position as student librarian. Article 5-1, King Carol Burleson, do will to Tommy Morgan my ability to sing. Article 6-1, Davie Joel Burleson, do will to Barbara Winfree my Senior dignity. Article 7 - I, Roma Gene Burleson, do will to Frances Hussey my position as F. T. A. president. Article 8-1, Glenda Purlene Carriker, do will to Lo- rene Cagle my quiet and unassuming ways. Article 9-1, Gerald Andrew Carriker, do will to Ed- ward Efird my State Farmer ' s degree in Agriculture. Article 10 - I, Betty Kaye Crayton, do will to Joyce Burleson my speed on the typewriter. Article 11 - I, Tommy Ellsworth Dick, do will to Dean Speights my ability as a basketball player. Article 12 - I, Shearon Van Efird, do will to Anita Hartsell my sales ability. Article 13 - I, Mary Elizabeth Furr, do will to Sylvia Bowers my ability to make A ' s. Article 14 - I, Gloria Elaine Goss, do will to Zoe Huneycutt my position as Literary Editor of the annual. Article 15 - I, Kenneth Joel Harleson, do will to Linda Speight my position as Business Manager of the annual. Article 16 - I, Claude Eugene Hinson, do will to Keith Efird my superlative as most athletic. Article 17-1, Larry William Lambert, do will to Roger Burleson my ability to get along without a great deal of work. Article 18 - I, Jerry Wayne Lowder, do will to Janice McSwain my dependability. Article 19 - I, Kenneth Eugene Lowder, do will to Kay Sells the keys to bus no. 22. Article 20 - I, James E. Mercer, Jr., do will to Jimmy Efird my good study habits. Article 21 - I, James Walter Morgan, do will to Elaine Benner my musical talent. Article 22 - I, Ronald Ray Morton, do will to Charles Almond my position as school store salesman. Article 23 - I, Ronald William Smith, do will to Toby Burleson my position as Senior class treasurer. Article 24 - I, Elizabeth Diane Parker, do will to Nona Sue Burleson my place on the basketball team. Article 25 - I, Terrell Jarvis Whitley, do will to my sister Ellene my ability to get along with others. Section VI Article 1 - All the remainder of our property, whatso- ever and wheresoever, which has not been disposed of we do give and bequeath to our beloved Alma Mater.
