LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We the Senior Class of Endy High School in the year of our Lord 1958-1959, being in high spirits and sound minds do hereby make this our last will and testa- ment. To the soon-to-be freshmen, the present eighth grade, we leave our places on the sports lists and all school activities, hoping each will enjoy them as much as we did. We also hope that each will some- day be a champion. To the freshmen we leave our bobbysocks, crew and butch hair cuts, peroxide hair, worn-out loafers, old report cards, and dirty blue jeans. To the sophomores we leave our ability to sell so that when they become j uniors and seniors they will be as good salesmen as we have been through out the years. We also pass on to them our title, A Talkative Class, hoping they will learn to speak at the appropriate time. We ' ve never acquired that art. by with as many things as they did and not get caught. To Jane Adams, Patricia Bowers and Louise Lyall will their ability to be a contestant in many school beauty contests. To Glenda Carriker, Brenda Furr and Phyllis Deese will their friendliness and quietness hoping she will be admired as they were. To Gene Hinson, Joe Westbrook leaves his superla- tive Cutest in the senior class. To Tony Whitley, Donnie Herrin leaves his good looks and driving ability. To Jimmy Mercer, Tommy Dick and Larry Lambert, Gerald Almond wills his basketball ability and good sportsmanship. To Ronnie Morton, Terrell Whitley, and Ronnie Smith, Tony Dennis wills his weakness for girls. To the juniors we leave our front seats in the audi- torium and the honor of having certain students stand up as you enter. Our empty desks in our home room we also leave to you. Make your last year a happy one and show your underclassmen, who admire and look up to you, that you are worthy of their admir- ation. Now to each member of the junior class each of us leaves his personal belongings. To Gerald Carriker, Jerry Lowder and Jimmy Mor- gan, Carl Furr wills his ability to blush when girls speak to them. To Patricia Almond, Patricia Murray and Glenda Winfree will their neat appearances. To Gloria Goss, Nancy Lambert leaves her ability to study, knowing that this will be an asset when taking exams as it was for Nancy. To Diane Parker, Reginia Watkins and Kay Lambert will their warm smile and good looks. To Carol Burleson, Rayvon Burleson wills his ab- ility to keep his driver ' s license. To Roma Jean Burleson, Nona Smart and Linda Eudy will their ability to play basketball. ToBernie Almond, Carroll Hudson and Larry Coble will their abilities to get along with the girls in his class. To Nancy Almond, Vivian McSwain and Merium Low- der will their abilities to participate and co-operate in all school activities. To Shearon Efird, Sherrill Hahn wills his position as Most Likely toSucceed, and his ability to work with his classmates. To Judy Burleson, Iris Burleson, Drucilla Griffin and Betty Whitley will their wit hoping that Judy can get To Patricia Howard, Joan Westbrook and Toby Jean Burleson will their ability to wear high heels, yet not be a skyscraper. To Davie Burleson, Kenneth Lowder and Kenneth Harleson, Billy Lambert wills his height, hoping they can get as many girls to suit them as Billy did. To the entire junior class Lorretta No wling wills her sincere thanks for making this year a pleasant one. To Mr. Overcash, who has always stood ready to help us, to all the teachers who have guided us through- out our formative years, and to our parents who have sacrificed so much for us, and loved us in spite of our short-comings, we leave our sincerest gratitude and appreciations.
