From The President To the Class of 1982: We came to Endicott together, and now you are ready to go on to new experiences with new skills and knowledge and the confidence of achievement. You have told me that in planning this yearbook you have been searching out the reasons each of you had for coming to college. Let me cite a reason which may be the most important, yet through modesty is offen understated: You have the ability to succeed. To develop your talents is as much a need as hunger for food. To know you are using them well is one of the great satisfactions of life. In Choosing Endicott, with its strong tradition of woman’s career education, you have demonstrated your awareness of the challenges and opportunities you have as women today. Your studies of the past two years should bring you appreciably closer to your goals. lam happy that you chose Endicott and especially that you came at a time when we could know each other and work together. But this is enly the begining! Remember, you have almost 12,000 sister alumnae throughout the world. Here on campus, we will always be ready to help with placement or professional update.
