Mr. Bryant’s Mixed Choir class looks over their music. Mr. Hewitt leads the Advanced Band. Fine Arts Paint, colored chalk, charcoal, pencil and plaster of Paris all have their uses in creating someone’s art work. In addition to providing learning and enjoyment to individual students, the art classes also make many of the posters, dance bids and programs for school functions. The music department, like the art classes, provides individual gains, as well as benefit to the school. The Advanced Band and the Choir provide entertainment for various school activities. In mechanical drawing, students learn how to draw plans in three dimensions or at different angles. This course helps those that want to become engineers. The Echo Staff Editors: Judie Nagel, Tom Mihok, Kathy Moulthrop, Vicki Yost and Barbara Encinal “Echo” Staff Many people work together to bring the students of Encinal the ECHO, their school newspaper. The staff members gather and write the news, Mr. Reilly advises them and Mr. Ellis makes the headlines. With the guidance of Mr. Robert Reilly, the “ECHO” staff has produced many fine issues of the school newspaper. One of the earlier features of the newspaper was the “Mystery Student of the Week.’’ A guest editorial is another fea- ture sometimes appearing in the newspaper.
