DEDICATIQN Appointed principal of Encinal High School on July 1, 1953, Mr. Lowell W. Mell has earned the high esteem and deep respect of faculty and students alike. He has contributed to the maturity of Encinal from the start through his enthusiasm for all phases of school life: the curriculum, physical plant, and extra curricular activities. More than an able ad- ministrator. he has encouraged us to show our pride in Encinal, enabling us to meet the challenges of the future. The 1959 Horizon is dedicated to Mr. Mcfll in recognition of all that he has given. The staff. on behalf of the student body, hopes that the measure of Mr. Mell's success and happiness in his new venture will equal the horizons which he has opened for us.
