Thirty-nine per cent of the student body is enrolled in at least one foreign language course. Today's high school student will be a leader in tomorrow's world. Experience with some degree of skill in using a foreign lan- guage is an indispensable element in the education of national leaders. The interna- tional responsibilities of our nation make it imperative that our future leaders have a reasonable proficiency in the use of at least one foreign language.
