The role of administrative bodies is always great. Faced with rnushrooming enrollment in all the state educational institu- tions, the 1960 Board of Regents' responsibility is ever-growing. Few boards of directors are responsible for such a variety of decisions which involve a wide range of activities, interests, and investments. Appointed by the Governor, each board member, taking time away from his own profession, acts as budget-maker, person- nel-selector, and policy-formulator.
