' ICHT years ago a young man came to fill the chair of ll Philosophy and Psychology at the Kansas State Normal School. He was a man of ideas and knew how to impress them, so that, though at first he encountered opposition from students and faculty, now his ideals are the ideals of the school. He was an athlete, and helped to build up a good system of athletics in our school. His has been an important part in creating the good-will existing between students and faculty. And as we admire him in these things, we love him as we lfnow him when he throws open his home for our pleasure and profit each two weelrs. To this man, Norman Triplett, who is indeed our philosopher and friend, the Senior class of the Kansas State Normal afectionately dedicates this book. 6
