The operetta was put on by the music department under the leadership of Miss Sowerby, who was assisted by the speech department under the supervision of Miss Miller, and the physical training department under the supervision of Miss Snider. The club had 62 members. They began the year by having a watermelon feed. During the fall the Sophomore clubs, both Senior and Sophomore, brought an Indian show here. In December eight or nine boys were sent to ,the Voca- tional Guidance Conference at Wichita, Kan. The book exchange and hot-dog stand has also been a big success in spite of the depression.
