Mr. iilder’s EMPHASIS lecture was on the danger of depolarization of ex roles and the male role in society. ROLLO MAY is an author and lecturer and maintains a psy- chotherapeutic practice in New York City. Dr. May is a Train- ing and Supervisory Analyst at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry. Psychoanalysis and Psychology. He began his work in Vienna and studied in Poland and Greece, completed his doctorate in Psychology and his psychoanalytic work in New York. Dr. May attended Union Theological Semi- nary in New York. He has taught at both Harvard and Yale. He is the author of such well known books as Meaning and Anxiety, Love and Will, and Power and Innocence. Dr. May spoke on the consequences of socioscxual change. On Sunday morning Urban Tigner Holmes conducted the EMPHASIS Weekend worship service. Dr. Holmes is an author and pastoral counsellor. He is the author of The Sexual Person, and The Future Shape of Ministry, and such articles as The Christian as Humanist”, Sexuality and the Christian Man”, A Theology of Gender”, A Theology of Sex”, and Sexuality and Asexuality.” 199

IflKi FRANCES T. FARENTHOLD, an attorney on the Texas Bar Association, current Chairperson of the National Women’s Politi- cal Caucus, Vice-Chairperson of the National Coalition for Human Needs and Budget Priorities, and Who’s Who of Ameri- can Women, spoke to the college on organizational change and legal and social problems. She was the first woman in the U.S. to have her name placed in nomination for the Vice-President of the United States. ELIZABETH JANEWAY, author of Man's World— Woman Place, is a Berkeley Fellow at Yale, a member of the internation writers’ organization of The Civil Liberties Journal and the Execute Woman. During EMPHASIS weekend she shared her ideas on at tude changes that arc necessary to facilitate role change.
