Rosemary Ructher spoke on “Liberation Theology. Poets Dabney Stuart (above) and Jonathan Williams visited the campus reading their works and talking with stu- dents. The African Heritage Dancers were a contrast to the performances of the Sullins and Hollins dance troupes. Among the visiting drama groups were Norman and Sandra Dietz doing original material, the Alpha-Omega Players with Saint Joan and The Diary of Adam and Eve, the Wing, an improvisational group, and the Barter Theater Intern Ensemble doing an original presentation of Greek myths. Movies encompassed a range of emo- tions, styles and depths with Stop the World, I Want to Get Off”, Inherit the Wind”, Henry V”, The Phantom of the Opera”, The Wild Child , The Red Bal- loon .
