With the new amps installed in the station, located i the basement of Wiley Hall, the broadcasts can be picked up almos all over the campus. The station has also moved up to ten hou broadcasting day, seven days a week. Special programs provided b the station are devoted to jazz, and blues, progressive rock, Christia rock, and the American College Radio Network. Another new servic provided by WLRC is Zodiac News, which is geared to the colleg audience. 158

Coverage is given to cam pus events, sports, and community and national events of interest tc the college. All students interested in journalism are encouraged it join and contribute. This year, the Whitetopper moved to a biweekh printing schedule, and due to the newsprint shortage, started using : better grade paper. These and other improvements make the White topper the most widely read publication on campus. 160
