Although the Sphinx has never attempted to follow the most proper technical methods, this publication has always endeavored to convey to the Emory and Henry student body the best of the year's events and provide a book of which they can always be proud. It is not just another college publi- cation. but rather, it is one of the few reminders of college which will remain with them forever. The many harried hours of photography, layout, and copy writing all pay off at the Awards Assembly when the Sphinx is dedicated to a deserving person. Miss Emory and Henry is announced, and the student body is presented with their yearbooks. SPHINX GENERAL STAFF—First Row. Left to Right: Dottle Johnson, Poqqy Eilmoro, Linda Edwards. 8evorly BlacV.
