The Student Council acted as the government of the school in sol- ving the problems of individual students and the student body as a whole. This year the student body officers attended several District III student council meetings, These meet- ings were held at various high schools in the valley and were represented by the student body officers of the different schools. The officers also planned to visit a student council meeting at Middleton, Borah, Boise, and Cascade High Schools. They, in turn, were to visit one of our meetings and share ideas on how the student govern- ment could best be improved. The Student Council played an active part in promoting school spirit and strove for improvement for Emmett High School.
