Nancy Kidd and Ron McBride, in a holiday mood, put the finishing touches on the traditional junior Class Christmas tree, located in the main entrance hall. Once a Redskin, always a Redskin applies to Manual ' s Alumni. The annual Pow Wow brings many grads to visit their alma mater, as well as future Manualites.

The excitement of the first day, the thrill of winning a close game, the burden of a seemingly never-ending flow of assignments, the friendliness of a club meeting— all are a part of our school lives. The helpfulness of a teacher at a conference, the enthusiasm of our parents for P-TA and Dads Club activities, and the loyalty and devotion of our alumni to our now 70-year-old school help create the moods which make up the atmosphere of Manual. Manualites like Cheerleader Captain Linda Harkness, performing at a pep session during football season, stimulate gay, exciting moods. Helpful teachers like Miss Dorothy Robertson, having a conference with Dan Kraus to explain a difficult assignment, make school more pleasant.

Varied Moods of Manualites Run the Gamut Those important IBM slips, grade cards, create wide reactions as dramatized by Dan Ryan and Bev Boyd. All smiles as they follow our Rarin ' Redskins, Bill Class and Bonnie Roe purchase basketball tickets from Mrs. Dorothy Thomas in the bookstore. Moms and Dads help our moods at football and basketball games by providing refreshment stands where we can appease our seemingly endless appetites. A steaming hot-dog on a cold night? Perfect!
