We Pursue Fine Arts Art work takes many forms. Students take advantage of the new 1 3-room addition while, below, a drawing class tackles a piece of sculpture with a cornet added for interest. The Glee Club takes to the air for Young America Sings, broadcast over Radio Station WIBC on Sunday evenings. The Choir also tapes a show for the all-public-school series. Manual ' s Marching Redskins repre- sent the school in many places. Mr. William Kleyla and his Band per- form at the new Garfield Post Office, playing for the dedication ceremony. 10

We Feel the Science c Push y Physics experiment using live-model Terri Stoneburner demonstrates gyroscopic motion. The camera ' s strobe light stopped the wheel which propelled her by its force. In Solid Geometry, theorems are made more graphic by the students ' making models of them. Mr. Fred Ahlemeyer discusses a model showing a line perpen- dicular to a plane. Every Manualite is at sometime during his four years a student of biology. Fall and spring the campus abounds with insect- or leaf-hunting pupils. Kipp Rucker, Ora Brier, and Nancy Horn are thankful for Nature ' s help as they brandish their nets for their insect collections.
