Top Seniors Make Masoma, Roines Service Clubs Masomas Shirley Kratowicz and Jennie Perry assist Fresh- men Ron Drahos and Roger Day on their first day. Since 1914, the ambition of every active Sen- ior has been to join one of the Senior honor- aries — Roines for boys and Masoma for girls. Roines was organized in 1914, followed by Masoma in 1915. Both organizations serve the school. At the beginning of each semester, Masomas assist new Freshmen in their Home Rooms and guide them on a tour of the build- ing. A get-acquainted party was the Masoma- Freshman Mixer for incoming 9-B ' s, with a prize awarded for the best name tag. Alums at Manual ' s 66th birthday party in February were served and registered by Masomas as were guests at the Fall Athletic Banquet. These two service organizations combine ef- forts for joint projects such as the Pigskin Prom, honoring the football players.
