We Plan Courses from a Wide Curriculum Freshmen John Justice and Ronnie Sawyer put finishing touches to their Christmas angel constructed in Art I. Kathleen Ludeman and Linda Schroeder find hands help- ful while practicing conversing in French, which was newly added to our curriculum this year. The classes here at Manual teach students many and varied subjects, preparing them with a back- ground for college or the vocation of their choice. The school is equipped to instruct and give valu- able knowledge to pupils who wish to take advan- tage of the opportunity. With the assistance of teachers and counselors, each Manualite may work out a four-year program which best suits his needs, interests, and abilities. If his goal is college, he plans his curriculum to meet college requirements; or he may prepare himself for a vocation or busi- ness in one of our many special departments. This year, Manual has added to its ever-growing curriculum three new subjects — French, Analytical Geometry, and Etymology. In U. S. History class, Jim Privette, as King James I of England, dramatizes the awarding of charters for Amer- ican colonies to Janet Carnes and Leroy Bell.
