My Scholastic Life When classes began, I realized that I had eorne to study. But study seemed to be an unnecessary task, for as a college student, I thought that I already had a great store of knowledge. My nine Weeks, grades proved the contrary true. As the year Wore on, my stack of books lost their crispness, my program card became useless, and my hazy idea of something called a GPA began to keep me awake nights. Even though I may forget the endless details in math, the complicated formulas for chemistry, or the dates memorized in history, I Won't forget my teachers who not only lectured, as- signed, and tested, but also held before me the ideal of complete development and taught me as a personal friend.

E 7756 gecame F475 of Wig .-Zaye. From the moment I arrived on the campus, I began a new type of life. No matter Where I lingered - near the pungent odor of the chemistry building, around the noise of play in the physical education building, or in the observation of quiet - I became a part of this new life at college. Through classes, labs, term papers - the tools of the student - I began to understand the world around me, the reasons behind the things that I had always taken for granted. I found out that college is not books, not classes, not chapels, and not dates, but all of these and more besides.
