F1 ueen Joyce and King John Reigned over Eagle Days The excitement of the 1968 Homecoming came to a thrilling climax on Friday, September 29. On Monday and Tuesday night the student body worked on their class floats. Richard Mayer was master of ceremonies for Coronation held on Thursday night. Each class presented a comedy skit which help fill the eveni.ng with fun, frolic, and a million laughs -- not to mention the bonfire and pep rally. Queen Joyce and King john were crowned the 1968 royalty by last year's king, Bruce Huber. Attendants were Carol Mayer, Royce Huber, Alyce McCormick, and Darwin Hanssen. A beautiful parade was held on Friday afternoon. On Friday night the Eagles captured a conference game over Montrose 33-32. A social followed this victory which help to make the 1968 Homecoming a success.
