This year found the sophomores dissecting frogs, worms, fish and displaying abilities in Driver's Education. The sophomore float showed their artistic ability by capturing first in the originality di- vision. Their humorous skit at coronation was a huge success. They have already achieved many honors. This class furnished three B cheerleaders during the past year. This sophomore class also excelled in many athletic activities such as football, basket- ball, and track. They supplied one member of the varsity team for the past two years. If one can use past performance as an indicator, this class should prove to be one of Emery High's greatest assets. Their abilities and achievements will determine what is in store for the sophomores in the next two years. O 'L 'Q

. Juniors Awaited Senior Year 0 Knowledge Thirty eager youngsters made up the junior class i.n '68, This was a memorable year for this enterprising group -- they built a first-place winning floatg they furnished two starters on the varsity basketball tearng they planned and organ- ized the annual junior-Senior Banquetg they pre- sented a playg and they provided officers for the various organizations. Three money-raising projects occupied the spare time of the energetic clan. These included selling magazines and concessions in addition to their play, Love ls Too Much Trouble, which Eugene Ernster Carol Leitheiser Keith Loes was presented on November 2 and 3. One of the days which the juniors won't forget is January 19 -- the day they received their class rings. The favorite stones were artic sapphires and hemitites. The rings will always remind the juniors of their high school days. Wrapping up a successful year was the junior- Senior Banquet which was held at Chef Louie's. The profits of the many fund-raising projects of these ambitious Ilmiors were well-spent on ma- terial to carry out their theme.
