Our armor untarnished, our standards we hold high. The gold will show our bravery; the spark of grey shines true. For valor bold the black will stand; hear now our battle cry ! Supt. Orson W. Peterson Spartans: I would like to remind each student at Emery County High School that even tho’ you are attending a fine school with a competent faculty, every man is his own most important teacher. He is the only one who knows what he really accepts and what he really thinks. Since you are your own most important teacher, try to do the best you can for yourself and do your own par- ticular task well. I hope you are continually challenged to use the time of which you are master, as well and possibly better than those times in which your activities and thoughts are supervised and directed by a teacher.
