SPAULDING Principal June 15 BOARD OF SCHOOL TRUSTEES Just as the earth needs the sun, a school system needs a Board of School Trustees. In addition to routine duties, this year ' s board had numerous conferences with the officials of the Purdue Survey. In the picture across the page, we find Glenn Rearick, secretary; Edward W. Schaaf, vice-president; Edward T. Doyne, president; Herbert S. Jones, superintendent; Maynard E. Suley, treasurer; and Lloyd F. Burress, assist¬ ant secretary. PARENT COUNCIL No matter how important the sun, the moon and stars are in the scheme of the universe, parents are more so. Meeting monthly in the school cafeteria, these Emerson parents discussed problems of the school community. Thirty-nine members served this year.
