ALDLN Applied Anatomy; Hygiene; Physical Training “A l(irider gentleman treads not the earth.” A member of Dr. Emerson’s first regular class, graduating from Monroe College in 1883; graduate of Boston College of Physicians and Surgeons, 1906. Dr. Alden is dear to the hearts of many student generations. He is always anxious for our mental and bodily welfare. He greets us in the corridors and classrooms with the cheeriest of faces and warmest of handclasps. Many a student has been started anew on the road to health by this friend. He first taught m Marietta College, Ohio. Eater he went on the stage and in the last few years has built up a reputation for himself as a dramatic coach. He has been teaching in Emerson College since 1 909. Mr. Burnham is always pleasant to meet both in the classroom and out. Mr. Kenney is not only an advocate of hard work but he bodies forth his doctrine. He IS a big-hearted man and the appreciation of his value grows upon acquaintance. 15
