'PY We Pay Tribute to Mr. Wilson. Often we perform our daily tasks with slight at- tention devoted to our co-workers. Seldom are thoughts projected beyond the immediate future. Suddenly some- one is called to the great beyond. We then realize the great need of cultivating human relationships. The sudden passing of Mr. Harold Wilson brought sadness to teachers, students, the community, and the church. He was one who placed the values of honesty, sincerity, hard work, and love for his fellow man above personal advantages. Possibly his philosophy could have been expressed in these words: it is not enough to educate the mind, the soul, too, must be reached. When this is done, a person is born who can walk through this troubled world and know what is right. P. E. Diller 7

,.+ .. We Remember Mrs. Easton. Although Mrs. Easton served as Dean of Girls here for only one year, her death was a dire tragedy for Elyria High School. She was very effective in our situation here and had gained the respect of the faculty and the student body. She was extremely fair in dealing with the 6 students and had a sincere, humane feeling for their problems. It is a feeling of genuine sorrow that we all have as a result of her untimely death. We miss her cheery smile and friendly greeting. We have lost an understanding friend, and we all miss her very much. Estelle Newell
