New Styles Keep Students Busy. Here in one picture you can see several fads of this year: long and short flip-up hair-dos, Princeton cuts for the boys, bulky sweaters, and the ever-popular Ivy League shirt. 18 Our stylish Elyria High students in this picture are Rolfe Gruen, Marsha Aebie, Susan Smith, Tim Haas, Dawn Schnur, and Bill Miller. Fads, fads, fads! What fun! And how busy they keep us! It seems there is always some new hair style to experiment with, or a new dance step to learn. How dull it would be without them! No one ever knows for sure how they originate, but once a few E.H.S.'ers catch on to the latest thing , the rest are eager to get with it too. Some are only brief passing fancies, while others eventually become a natural part of our lives. Barb Altfeltdand Susan Murbach debate as to whether they should or shouldn't buy the latest for girls.
