Date Nights Are Fun ights A telephone call, an invitation, the girl's Yes, I'd love to! , and afmfhef C01-IPIC, Patti Ryan and Clay Burkhard, have a date for the Christmas Formal. 10 So many things are involved! Here Patti puzzles over which dress she should buy. What all enters into a date? just one evening of fun? Of course not! There's a lot more to a date, especially one for a big dance such as the Christ- mas Formal. From the moment a girl is invited her mind becomes a busy Whirlwind, full of plans. And the boy has a lot to think about, too . . . where they will go after the dance, what kind of corsage he should buy, and how he's going to meet the expenses. Finally the big night arrives. Both girl and boy are a little nervous, a little apprehensive, but after getting started nerves are calmed and the fun begins. From then on, the evening is filled with dreamy dancing and light conver- sation. However, all good things must come to an end, even the Christmas Formal, It may end, but lingering on is a never-to-be-forgotten memory. The busy day of the formal arrives, with both Patti and Clay helping to decorate the gym for that evening.
