SCIENCE OPENS DOOR IO NEW DISCOVEIIIES. EDWARD ALLEN JOSEPH J. ASIRE RALPH F. BAUER ROY S. JONES EARL LAUTENSCHLEGER ROBERT F. MESSAROS GEORGE SANDREW A. N. SMITH BARBARA SMITH From the basic principles of general science to the smelly aromas from the chem lab, from the pigs in formaldehyde of biology to the equa- tions in the physics book, science is a fascinating challenge to the students of E.H.S. It acquaints the pupils with their physical environment and provides a basic background for those who wish to pursue a scientific career. Maybe it will be an E.H.S. alumnus who discovers a cure for the cold or reaches the moon first. If a student gains only the ability to solve his daily problems by the scientific method - seeking facts, eliminat- ing prejudice, and reasoning logically - he has secured much. ...T ...,.h X0 Na, -f a ' Q - ' n fl. 2 S ..
