RELIGICDLIS As students of Elyria Catholic we live in an environment that will prepare us for life enabling us not only to be exemplary citizens, but stanch Catholics. With this in mind, it is indeed fitting that we commence this division of our yearbook with the religious activities. In these various endeavors we are afforded the opportunity to participate collectively as well as individually. Mass is held for the student body the opening day of school so that we may petition God's grace for a successful year. On First Friday of each month we again meet in the school chapel to offer the Sacrifice together, and finally, on honor day, we assemble for the last time in thanksgiving for the favors that we have been so graciously granted during the term at EC. A statue of Our Lady of Grace stands near the front entrance of the school as a reminder of the school s progress in the past ten years The white stone structure erected on a square stone base was donated by Mrs Damm grandmother of Johanna bpress a 1un1or of Elyria Catholic Sodalrty the help of students and the generosity of friends As ue cele brate the Tenth Anniversary of Elyria Catholic mas we XOICQ a word of gratitude to all who participated in its dexelopments ' . 1 g V .
