if. it ' i lineal instructs the ignorant. RELIGIOU lt is most fitting, indeed, that we bring to a close this section with the most important of all activities, our religious activities. Under the patronage of Our Lady of Grace, we have participated in many religious events. We began the school year in September with the traditional Mass, attended by all students receiving Holy Communion in a body. On the first Friday of each month, the student body attends Mass and receives Communion in the school chapel as a proof of their faith and the love of their Savior. During Advent the Faculty and the student body, lead by the sodalists ,performed the traditional ceremony of the lighting of the Advent wreath. To usher in the new semester and give us a chance to look back, the annual retreat was held, conducted by Father Joseph Steppe who en- couraged the Seniors to think seriously about the steps they were about to take and above all to guard their faith. In June, we shall end as we began, with a Mass, the Baccalaureate Mass, the seniors' last at Elyria Catholic High School. Dr. Lehane blesses our Class Rings.
