The Only Way To Have We have traveled many miles to get where we are today. During our high school years we have had many money-making projects and activities. When we were freshmen and sophomores, our sponsor was Mrs. Beverly Austin. During those two years we sold candy and had bake sales. We placed third with our float as freshmen and took fourth place our sophomore year. Then as we became juniors, our sponsors became Mrs. McQuitty and Mrs. Merritt. We took first place with both our floats, (The Lean Mean Fighting Machine and Garfield). We sold candy and jewelry for money-making projects. Our Jun-ior Senior Prom was called “Circus of Colours. In our senior year we sold candy as our moneymaking project. We contracted the same band for prom as last year. For graduation we decided on blue gowns for the guys and white for the girls. At the end of the year the remaining money will go to two of our classmates for scholarships. Homecoming extras will go to the incoming freshmen, the class of 1988. Top is Cindy Peel, vice president.
