Journalism: The journalism class under the diection of Mrs. Crimans skillfully produced the school's newspaper, the MEGAPHONE. The MEGAPHONE was published three times a semester. The newspaper contained editorials, feature stories, and the all-important school news. Besides distributing issues to student the staff exchanged school newspapers with eighteen area schools. Students sold advertisements to local merchants to help finance the paper. Together with publishing the MEGAPHONE, journalism students learned many things from their textbooks. Newswriting, layout, different kinds of type, the printing processes, mass media, and the history were a few of the subjects discussed. Journalism students (TOP) are busy getting their next assignments. Kathy Long and Karen Brewer (LEFT) study their text books. Brenda Bcber. Kathy Strong and Joa Yohe prepare articles for the MEGAPHONE. Students enjoy reading the MEGAPHONE.
