Ever means always, continually, never ceasing. Increasing is growing. Together they have a great significance, always growing. Is that not a good motto for ,a book such as this, for a school such as this? ln the last few years, since the first edition, the Crescent has grown from a small, thin pamphlet to the book that it is. The school has grown since it first came into existence, in size, in importance, in enrollment, in activi- ties and in athletic prestige. From the time that we enter the portals of El-Hi until the time that our diploma is handed to us on commencement we have been ever increasing physically, mentally, religiously, and socially. We, the Seniors of '28 must not let this cease to be our motto after we leave El-Hi. lt should always be with usi. For we must remain in accord- ance with all mankind and you all know that the people on the face of the earth will continue to be ever increasing for the next million years as they have been in the last million. -ROBERT L. This year has passed and the Crescent of ,28 is yours for your approval or disapproval.
