24 Events EIston's Odd Couple Goes On Stage On November 22, 1974, Neil Simons Broadway hit, The Odd Couple, was presented at Elston. Performing on stage forthe first time was Dave McGowan, playing Oscar Madison. The story revolved around the disruption of Oscar's unorganized lite by his tastidious friend, Felix Ungar. Felix was played by Dave Block. Directing the play was Mrs. Dunlop, and assisting her as student director was Mike Finger.
