10 Events Class Olympics Complete The Squeeze The students of Elston turned in an outstanding S4152 forthe Squeeze last year. The Class of '74, through such activities as the Senior Car Wash and Bastille Day, showed senior superiority with 81966. Juniors took second with S1435 and the sophomores brought in 8750. The trophy for most money turned in went to Mrs. Harrison's homeroom with 3638. Squeeze funds went mainly to the LaPorte County March of Dimes and Heart Association. Winding up Squeeze Week, the annual Class Olympics were held, uncovering many hidden athletic abilities. Each class hoped for a victory and the S100 award to their Squeeze credit. But the Class of '74 easily won the prize. Mymm . 3

City Slicker Day Brings Back 50's After Mr. Jones proclaimed one day of last year's Spirit Week to be City Slicker Day, students searched frantically for tight pants, long skirts, sweaters, and everything else that was big in the 5O's. Guys broke out the 30 wt., girls smeared themselves with red lipstick, and everyone sported white socks with Beatle boots or saddle shoes. An assembly at the end of the day proclaimed Chris Plant and Regina Cross as EIston's official Mr. and Mrs. City Slickerf' Starting Left, Clockwise: Mike Edling, Rick Blank. Mary West, Senior Jail.
