Students Experience On The Job Training From Data Processing to Typing I to Stenography, Business classes were exposed to the realities of life in the business world. They learned to run modern machinery such as the electronic typewriter, the electronic calculator, and the key punch, and provided teachers and organizations with a duplicating system. Over six hundred students were taught to type. On the jobt' training played an important role in the Business school year. Future secretaries were able to work at local businesses through the Co-operative Education program, as were Data Processing students. As a final testimony to the effectiveness of the business programs, many key punch students were able to move di- rectly into steady jobs. ? v: I J. ,2. h I V I l w. ..J ' K i a ,.
