Miss Pageant, sponsored by the Michigan City Jaycees. The competition was based on poise, talent, and personality. Jeanne Periolet of St. Marys won the Jr. Bliss title, and two lllston girls, Peggy Scliwartzenberg and Cris Sadenwater, placed in the finals. Pam Brown and Helen Shock tied for the Miss Congeniality award, presented by the Jaysliees.
