$,em...5r'i Pamm..,llo The Spirit of Tradition for M. C. High dawns when Summer Fesrival time commences, summer jobs are se- cured, football practice begins, and anorher new year is upon us. The wheels of the school year traditionally start rolling with the junior and senior beach parties. Old friends, new schedules, familiar study hall seatings, the first football pep session, the annual LaPorte bon- hre, and the big game night finally arrive. With the onset of autumn, we crown our lovely Homecoming Queen. The junior play, the first basketball game of the season, and Thanksgiving approach before we real- ize it. A sparkling Christmas follows not long after, and along with the merry season we Find Christmas Day, the Holiday Tourney, the Trinity Ball, and New Year's resolutions. Vacation can't last forever and ex- ams take up where fun and frolicing wane. As the year progresses, charity drives, parties, and of course, home- work take up much of our valuable time. Sectionals present a thrilling moment in our lives. With the ar- rival of spring, seniors begin rehearsal for their annual play. Our Sportswhirl Queen reigns with elegance and grace. Our long-awaited ELSTONIANS arrive, the Prom comes and goes, and graduation is here after a marvelous year in the real SPIRIT OF TRADITION ?W,..l60 7adex...l95 3
