Elston Senior High School. To accomplish this task, the 1954 staff chose a theme with you in mind. In fact, you r are the theme. . I Who are you? Your friendliness was observed in gatherings by locfgiers, ',- 2 in the study hall at noon, and by the post of your favorite hall patrolman, , Perhapsiyou recall the apprehensive sophomores as they worked on their party. The juniors were kept quite busy with concessions, their play, and the prom. Throughout their last year, the seniors became aware of such things as class standing, senior sponsor, room, and finally graduation. ' You took pride in a basketball team which was tops. You attended pep sessions, assemblies, games, and dances. In the quiet and cheery atmosphere of the library, some of you read industriously or labored over term papers. Others merely browsed or viewed the displays. Our student body is composed of leaders and followers, athletes and spectators, and those who barely pass and othe-rs Who aim much higher. You have all played an important part in making an impression.
