Council revives student power Pep rallies, rooters buses, fences and student-faculty relationships were the main issues of the Executive Council for the l97l- 72 school year. This spirited group Was led by A. S. B. President, Mark Durrett, and was successfully supported by the rest of the council and the student body. Accomplishments Weren't limited for the council, as the Homecoming floats, parade and activities were restored. A spirit break- fast, a free rooters bus and sessions With the school board, faculty and principal were arranged as part of the new outlook for student participation. Changes occurred as the Den was abolished and S. A. B. , a council consisting of students and the principal, were brought together for better communication lines. Mr. Cooper and Mr. Hugh took the active role of advisors, with Mr. Hugh being the mediator between the council and faculty. Treasurer Caroline Childers If - 22

Richard Hackett, PTA President They're here to help us through The Parent Teachers Association, Faculty Advisory Board, School Board and Campus Aides are always helpful to the stu- dents. These people have given their time in order to make our education complete, as well as enjoyable. Crises often arise but with their help and guidance, E. U. H. S. continues in the neverending pursuit of educating the stu- dents. Smiles and friendly suggestions bring students the realization that these adults are r here to offer friendship as well as prepara- tion for the future.
