HISTORY DFFICERS AND We, the Seniors of 1953, are proud we have reached this never-to-be-forgotten year. But we cannot help thinking of that first day in high school. Although we were a bit shy and back- ward, we felt just as powerful as we do now. We all will agree that our initiation was most horrid. As the sophomore year went by, not too much happened, we just looked forward to our iunior year. Then things began to happen. First, all of us were sporting new class rings. Between the sale of hot dogs and cakes, we managed to produce the Junior Play, No Place Like Home. Deep Purple set the theme for background and soft music to be built around the Prom, given by the iuniors for the seniors of 1952. Boa NATA L E President GORDON MUMMY Vice President FRANCIE ROTHLIS Treasurer PAULETTE ALLEN Secretary Now we are Seniors with identity of lime green sweater to prove it. Such fun we had producing our play, Curtain Going Up. We are looking forward to a lot of fun on Ditch Day and other activities to follow. Finaly those final days of high school before we must go out into the world. Some of us will work and others go on to college. Believe us, you who follow, you only live one life, and its happiest days are spent in high school.
