The two organizaticns gave a tremendous num- ber of programs, singing for various civic organiza- ticns and school asscmbMes. The groups had special Eoio spots in the Chris mas Cant:ita. Gradua ion and Baccalaureate programs. Mrs. N;blett does all the arranging for these groups. Their repertoire includes a great varie y of selections, including sacred, secular and popular aumbers. oys ' Glee The boys ' glee club, under the direction of Mrs. Neblett. participated in the cantata Christmas Bells which was given in December. The group also sang in a combined program in April for Public Schools Week. The Boys ' and Girls ' Glee Clubs also sang sev- eral numbers at Baccalaureate and Commencement. BACK ROW — Edwards. ' ce The girb ' g ie club, under th direction of Mrs. Neblett, was unusually large this year, consisting of 35 girls. Every member was requi ed to take a vocal au- dition, and by this moans her voice placement antl position iin the glee club was established. The group participated in the Cantata, Christ- mas Bells, which was given in D-cember to a large and appreciative audiemce. This year the cpntata was written, as well as directed, by Mrs. Neblett. Another musical program was presented ii, April for Public Schools Week, in which the combined girls ' and boys ' glee clubs sang. The grouo also sang several numbers at Baccalaureate and Graduation.

Tyble The Student Store, which is run exclusively for the students, has had a rather precarious existence the last couple of years. Since the candy section has been moved from the cafeteria to the science build- ing, however, business has improved. The comp- troller, Harvey Root, has done ihe buying, with Fred Egleston selling at noon and Betty Smi ' h in charge after the seventh period.
