Girls ' League Ths new officers were introduced at the first meeting, and President Claire Lillie welcomed the fres ' -.men and introduced the advisor, Miss Hutchins, who outl ' n- ' S the aims rod ideals of the Girls ' L-a5;ue. At the second meeting, plans for Sadie Hawkins Day were discussed. Susie Sugden. social chairman, took charge of the arrangements for the dance and a typical Dog Patch Sadie HawkirtS Day was held November 28, 1941, complete to the Kick-a-poo Joy Juice. The whole affair of race and dance were successful, both socially and fjnancially. During the football season the girls made blue and orange pom-poms, which they sold at the rally before the Perris game.

They ushered at the senior play, jujnioT play. Christmas program, public schools week. Baccalaureate and Commencement. Officers, Irma Shaw, president; Helen Nicolas, secretary- treasurer; Miss Olson, advisor. Membership in the Scholarship Society is made up of students who earn superior grades and have a higih merit standing. At the first meeting, Claire Lillie was elected president, and Miss Giampaolo appointed advisor. A joint progressive dinner and initiation was held soon after. TTien new members were initiated at a scavenger hunt ' and party held early in the second semester. The graduating seniors who have earned life membership in the C. S.
