9ENI0R9 Sgt. at arms, Hadley Meyer; Secretary, Suzanne Damron; President, David Bagley; Treasurer, Judy LaRue Vice President, King Davis Jr. Though no one knew it at the time, the freshmen who walked into E.H.S. in 1961 were to become one of the greatest classes ever. As freshmen, we began with a bang as our float took top honors in the Fall Festival Parade. Our grades were good that year, as they have been since. As sophomores, we gave the Fall Festival their prettiest queen yet, Judy LaRue, escorted by Keith Palmer. Our junior year was our fun year. Our basketball boys were gaining experience as starters on the A team. Our class's boys led the Parliamentary Procedure s. But--the best yet to come. We decided to gild the nior year our best yet. Our lovely float won first in the nds down. The basketball boys brought to Elsberry the first ne. As Christmas Dances go, ours was the nicest in years. , our average score was well above that of the average r us to do now; we are only biding our time until we so easy for us to make a mark in the bigger, outside n be successes in life as we have been in high school, e E.H.S. as the school will be to see us go. Seriously, we take with us and those which we leave behind e that E.H.S. remembers us; we won't forget her. SENIOR CLASS of 1965
