Senior Class Officers Deana Langford, treasurer, Kay Leftwich, secretary, James Bufford, president, Patty Kuykendall, vice- president, Jeanette Brown, reporter. Cla ss of ’64 Four years ago in the fall of 1960, thirty-four frightened freshmen creeped through the doors of E.H.S. Today four years later as Seniors we can all look back on that moment and many others with a warm smile. At our very first class meeting Kay Leftwich was elected class president. Excitement ran high our sophomore year when Danielle Brumagin and Dale Galloway reigned over the Fall Festival. Our class president was Marilyn Watts. Kay Leftwich represented us at the Sophomore Pilgrimage. Our junior year was full of surprises. Richard Lawson assumed the duties as class president. Rebecca also received the D.A.R. pin for the highest grades in history. Richard Lawson was our delegate to Boys' State. Finally our Senior year, the most important year of all. Duke Bufford accepted the position as president, Sue Anne Gladney, escorted by Fritzie Walden, was crowned queen of the Christmas Dance. This is our last year, soon our last day and then the final hour. Next fall, another group of scared freshmen will enter the doors of E.H.S., as Seniors we wish them the best of luck and may their memories be as pleasant as ours. 17
