A time to ourselves, a time for reflection. For seniors, only memories remain, for freshman a myriad of dreams. Everyone has a special spot, a certain mood, a meaningful place to wander to in dreams. A search for solitude whether it be cheering at a football game, taking a break from studying, or day-dreaming in a class. We all have the need for a time of reflection.

Greek Week made its debut in the Spring of 1975 and proved to be one of the most exciting events to hit Elon ' s campus. Greek Week is the friendly competition among the sororities and fraternities on campus in various events such as the Chariot Race, egg throwing, broad jump, softball, and various other sports. With all the sororities and fraternities competing, with the exception of ITK, Phi Mu came in first for the sororities and Tau Kappa Epsilon took first for the fraternities. Cer- tainly Greek Week was something new for Elon and surely it will be something lasting. li DRINKING ON MAIN STREET; SORORITY HOUSING; HARDEES; Big news for the sororities this year has been new housing. Zeta Tau Alpha was the first sorority to move into their house this Spring with Tri-Sigma and Phi Mu expect- ing to .nove into their new homes this fall. This certainly marks a progressive era for the sororities on campus. Other additions to the campus included the Staley Lake Gazebo, outdoor handball courts, and of course, the controversial parking lot behind Huffine ' s Texaco which caused considerable static among the stu- dents.
