Umbrellas march like mushrooms in rain flitting like speckles beneath oak trees insane. and Come. Come away ivith me and learn. Bring your mind, your laughter, your tears. Bring dreams, and we will go to lose youth. . . . dreams are like soft blue bubbles floating mutely in a still gossamer woven by starlight, round rainbows glint and circle in curved corners then disappear, only to reappear again in a tear, the bubble grows, and grows pale with a gasp of a sigh, thin sides bulge with an elbow nudge and strain with a final goodbye. . . . Bring ifour mind Mumble, grumble, stutter, splutter crooked teeth bend the words soiling thoughts like sour curds. Minutes ivaste into days long, waiting for chapel bells to gong. Spaghetti sauce glopped on plates, co-eds pout and want more lates. Green blackboards, covered wi th math. Why, of course an alligator needs a bath! Nine o ' clock on a Sunday night — Quiet prevails, stillness is tight All are out, God ' s asleep. . . . black smears across a slick, slick floor tracks left by the horsemen four.
