HONOR COUNCIL The Honor Council, acting under the Student Council, tries coses involving Campus Code and Honor Code violations. This year the Council has strived toward making students properly conscious of their privileges and responsibilities as cit- izens of Elon College. Two seniors, two juniors, one sophomore, and one freshman are elected by the students to serve on this council. STUDENT COUNCIL The official voice of the student body of Elon College is the Student Council, which is composed of representatives of both men and women students with one mem- ber elected at large. This branch of the student government has final jurisdiction in all cases involving offenses against the student body and serves as a court of ap- pealo. INTERDORMITORY COUNCILS The Women ' s and Men ' s Interdormitory Councils ore composed of members who represent the resident men and women students. The councils ' main functions ore to improve living conditions in the dormi- tories, to enforce rules affecting the con- duct of dormitory students, and to speak for dormitory men and women in matters concerning the college.
