n OF MR. W. CLIFTON ELDER Mr. W. Clifton Elder of Burlington, N. C, is an industrialist, a civic leader, and a public spirited citizen. Mr. Elder was born in Alamance County, educated in the public schools of the county and at Elon College. He was graduated from Elon College in the Class of 1925. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Elon College and is one of the original Directors of the Elon College Foundation. He has served as President of The General Alumni Association and took the lead in providing a baseball park for the college. He has been in the forefront of e ery campaign for the college, giving freely of his time and money for the progress, stabili- ty, and efficiency of Elon College.
