One sentence from him, and you know from his draxd that J. C. is a son of the south. A brief acquaint- ance with him, and you know from his actions that he is the typical southern gentleman. Well, Beverly is just that kind of a person. A most agreeable fellow, one who is respected and loved by everyone.
